Imagine a world where every person has access to a professional health worker on their doorstep - salaried, skilled, supervised, and equipped to save lives. That's the world CHIC is creating. Our playbook? Uniting thousands of passionate players - from community health workers to advocates to cutting-edge researchers - all focused on making professional community health workers the norm worldwide. The #RouxPrize celebrates our collective achievement and the contributions every player on our team ( 👀 the comments!) Together, we've changed the rules of the game. We've secured guidelines for fair treatment of health workers, unlocked crucial funding, and shaped life-saving policies. Good health only happens if there are good working conditions. For maximum lives saved, community health workers (#CHWs) must be salaried, skilled, supervised, and supplied.
