What if 2025 is the year we stop playing it safe and start embracing the unexpected? I’ve just got back from Munich’s Christmas markets - where everything has its place yet somehow feels totally chaotic. This year reminded me that great things often come from embracing the unexpected. Undoubtedly this has been echoed throughout my career. The best moments have been when nothing was set in stone - when I’ve taken the plunge into a new role, shaped a future that didn’t yet exist, or tackled something completely outside my comfort zone. Jumping into the unknown - whether it’s creating a new role, building a department from scratch, learning a new business or product, aligning and rebuilding a broken culture, or helping scale-ups navigate tricky waters - brings a fresh perspective. It allows you to cut through the noise, spot what others might miss because they're too far ‘in’ it, break through the noise and shape what’s truly needed. Always with invaluable input from those closest to the action. Time and again, I’ve learned this is where the biggest growth happens. That being out of your depth sparks the best ideas, forges the strongest networks and creates lasting impact. It’s in these moments when you re-energise teams, inspire belief, and create something extraordinary together. So, my wishes to you as we leap into the new year; don’t be afraid to take the plunge. Well, here we are then - the final days of 2024. And it genuinely feels like we’ve packed a decade’s worth of work and challenges into the last twelve months. One of the biggest shifts this year for us was moving into our new headquarters – a building designed with our needs and goals in mind, a space that lets us spread our wings and add fresh ideas to the mix on a whole new level. We’ve also had the chance to connect with some incredible people all over the world this year, from those who deal with unforgiving winter conditions up north to people in warmer regions who have an entirely different set of challenges. Watching the accessories we produce find their way into so many different places, countries and regions always reminds us that we’re all part of a much bigger community. And we don’t mean just Europe because we’ve also been putting a lot of effort into strengthening our presence in North America, taking steady steps to connect with new partners and show them what we bring to the table. None of these accomplishments would mean much without the support of the people who use our products - every photo, message, feedback or quick update we get is a reminder that real work happens out there in the forests and fields, on the trails, or wherever machines and imagination meet to create new better solutions to old problems. It’s your drive and determination that keep us aiming higher and looking further, whether we’re fine-tuning our existing products or mapping out ideas for the next big launch. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re ready for whatever opportunities or challenges might come our way. We’ve grown a lot and learned a lot this year and we'll continue to do that in the next one. Our goal is to keep developing ATV and UTV accessories that help you work smarter, tackle those tough jobs, and maybe even enjoy the process a bit more than before. Like many of you, I’ve taken time away to spend with loved ones over the holiday period. For the most part, 2024 has been rewarding. In sum, it’s been a year of 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩 and 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨. Here's just a few takeaways I have from 2024: 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗽𝘀: I've identified areas on which to improve and took intentional and decisive steps bridge those gaps. 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Growing my network here has been so enriching. Learning from contributors and connections throughout the year has helped me elevate my value to clients. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝘀: Through seeking out new opportunities for collaboration across the region, it has helped me foster new and fortify existing partnerships. 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲: For all those who have continued to support and join me on my path - I am very grateful. There have been headwinds. Yet despite how brief, they've all been a catalyst for growth. 2024 was a challenging year, the world has changed a lot and will not be the same after this year. There were many elections across the globe, war in Europe continues and in the Middle East intensified. We ended the year with economical instability, powerhouses of some industries being challenged with unprecedented speed, and a new industry taking shape with an unpredictable impact on every aspect of our lives. But amidst all these challenges our company thrived and had its best year! We redefined our strategy to focus on the existing projects and it paid off. Personally there were some challenges as I needed to reroute my mindset and slow down. Nevertheless it also had amazing personal benefits that now that I look back it makes perfect sense! Anyway here is a list of some 2024 happenings that pretty much resume my year: -> Made 5 business trips - 1 new destination. -> My trips were down 45% from last year - meaning a lot of CO2 avoided ;-) -> Focused on existing projects - achieving financial growth of >30%. -> Helped land the biggest sale so far - at an European project. -> Made the biggest US single project. -> Participated in the efforts to open the LATAM market - hopefully 2025 will be the year!! -> Improved my eating habits. -> Hit my gym attendance records. -> Started a new sport. -> Saw my oldest son receiving a merit award for his performance at school. -> Supported my son's soccer team to win the winter championship. -> Saw my younger daughter entering first grade. -> Attended her dance classes to be mesmerised by her skills. In the end it added up as an amazing year where balance in work/life time was a big win! I wish you all an amazing holidays’ season and a wonderful 2025!
