VFX Editors, it’s getting on the end of your day and you just got a huge VFX submission. Well, that’s going to take time. Wait a second… you have a Subcap for every shot. Subcaps have a timecode in and out and you know that every shot has to start at frame 9. Huge gratitude to Avraham Kohn for introducing me to this enlightening new tool.😊 The name of these captivating presets is Jarle's Deadpool Handheld Camera Presets. Jarle was brought on board to assist in editing the movie Deadpool. The film required some wiggle effects, initially attempted in After Effects, but the rendering process slowed them down significantly. Consequently, Jarle developed this preset, suitable for any visual media requiring a wiggle effect. 🎥✨ What sets this apart is that it's not a digitally created wiggle from After Effects; instead, it was crafted using real shots from an actual camera, giving it an authentic and organic appearance. See below how it looks like it is a video taken as the person filming was walking through a big open field—well, check out the original picture and witness the magic of Jarle, transforming the footage from steady to authentic! Reworks on my Fresh Catch Storyboard Sequence! I can really see my improvements! Still have a long way to go, but I wanted to share my update. The original sequence got me to the 2nd round of the Nick Artist Program, but after getting reviews from other experience board artists, I know what I can improve on. #storyboards
