The project concept was to create spaces that are welcoming, warm, inviting, and conducive to efficient work. This was primarily achieved with spaces inspired by the jungle, simulating the natural environment. This effect was accomplished through indoor gardens, lush green plants, numerous wooden surfaces, and soft ambient lighting. Incorporated light colours and surfaces, such as beige and mid-tone wood, created a calming effect. ✨A pleasant makeover for a pleasantville house.✨ DGB Concepts and Design+ were given the lovely opportunity to redesign an existing house located in Pleasantville, Trinidad. Our task was to ensure that we reworked the entire interior layout with the necessary extension to the rare of the building to ultimately create a home that is comfortable and functional for two elderly persons. The approach on the exterior was one that was meant to be simple yet tasteful thus redefining and enhancing what was previously there. The slightly warm stone texture and neutral colours give a sense of balance and a feeling of home.
