How to know when you’ve found your clients as a photographer. Your clients: • Trust you 💯 to just ‘go and create’. • They are on board with the experimental images. • They listen to (and trust) your styling advice. • They come back time and time again. • You relocate and they travel to shoot with you. • You relocate, they try another photographer, dislike the results and then book you to travel back to them. • They hire you because ‘you create art’ and they ‘haven’t seen anything like your work before’. ***All real comments/experiences from real clients*** https://lnkd.in/evbUUeGk

It’s not just about someone who takes nice photos; it’s about finding someone who really understands what your brand is all about. Here’s a little checklist to think about: ✅ Do they get your industry? ✅ Can they meet your specific needs? ✅ Does their style match your brand? And most importantly, can they tell your story through their photos? Communication is super important. You want someone who listens and connects with your vision. When you’re not a professional model, posing in front of a camera can be scary A lot of my clients are first-time shooters, and when they ask me for guidance I often find myself giving this same advice to them: Use Positive Affirmations. Before and during the session, repeat some positive affirmations to boost your self-esteem and confidence. Befriend your Photographer. Establish a connection with them. A comfortable and friendly atmosphere makes it easier for you to be more confident. Bring a Friend. If possible, bring a friend or someone you’re comfortable with to the shoot. Their presence can provide support and ease nerves. Focus on the Experience. Shift your focus from the final photos to enjoying the experience. The more you enjoy the process, the more natural your expressions will be. Learn from Previous Photos. Reflect on past photos to identify what you liked and what made you feel confident. Use this knowledge for future sessions. At the end of the day, practice makes perfect. Never be afraid to ask your photographer for advice whenever you feel stuck. The right photographer will direct and capture you in your best element 📸 Like and share for more free game! There are famous pro photographers who have already spent a lot of time, effort & money to get ahead. They managed to make a name for themselves. The solution though might be to carve out a niche within your niche, where you can become the best out there when people try to work with YOU specifically. The ideal scenario (which can be reached through years of hard work) is to become a one-person niche, the “go-to” photographer for a specific type of client. When you’re narrowly positioned, people start seeing you as the expert in your field. Potential clients start saying “We want to do this. Get me [your name here]!”, because you’re the photographer that’s really well-known for that type of work. Maybe not worldwide (at first), but at least in your local area. Not only do clients trust you more because they see you as the expert. They also feel like taking a lower risk with you, than going with a generalist. In what niche would you like to become the “go-to” world-renowned photographer? And more importantly, how do you plan on getting there?

📸 Choosing your photographer 📸 With so many photographers out there, how do you find the right one for you? We tend to think that we would prefer to pay as little as possible, but in photography or any other artistic fields, it might not the best idea… Here are some key points to consider before booking: ✨ Editing Style: Make sure their editing style matches your vision. Do you prefer bright and airy, moody, or classic? Also, do they take posed pictures, or more candid ones? Do they use storytelling? Are they creative with their angles? 💖 Shared Values: Do they share your values and therefore will be able to understand your story? Whether it’s cultural traditions, religion, or anything close to your heart, feeling comfortable with your photographer is essential. 🎁 Extra Offerings: What extras do they offer? Are they the kind to just do your pictures and never hear from you again, or are they trying to get to know you, build connections and pour their heart into their work? 🌟 Client Feedback: Check out reviews and testimonials. What do previous clients say about their experience? When you read those reviews, does it appeal to you? Choosing a photographer is about finding someone who not only captures moments but also resonates with your personal style, needs and values. Take your time, consider these points, and find the perfect match for your special moments 📷 #praguephotographer #photographytips #Prague

What do you look for when searching for the best photographer for you? Even as a photographer myself, I sometimes find myself needing to hire another photographer, and here is what I look for: 1. Style and Portfolio: Make sure their style aligns with your vision. Review their portfolio to see if their previous work matches the aesthetic and quality you’re looking for. 2. Experience and Expertise: Look for a photographer with experience in the type of photography you need, whether it’s portraits, events, or branding. Their expertise can make a big difference in the final results. 3. Client Reviews and Testimonials: Check reviews and testimonials from previous clients. Positive feedback and satisfied clients can give you confidence in your choice. 4. Personality and Comfort: It’s important to feel comfortable with your photographer. A good rapport and easy communication can make the shoot more enjoyable and yield better results. 5. Professionalism and Reliability: Ensure they are professional and reliable. This includes punctuality, preparedness, and the ability to deliver high-quality work on time. Finding the right photographer is about more than just technical skills; it’s about finding someone who understands your vision and can bring it to life. Like and share if you got value from this 💪🏽 Now booking: branding, portraits, events DM for inquiries | Fargo, ND (Travel Available) #Fargophotographer #brandphotographer #samuraphotography
