BioConsortia, Inc. Unveils Promising Field Test Results for SOLVARIX Bionematicide BioConsortia recently presented the latest field test results for its SOLVARIX bionematicide at an industry meeting in Campinas, Brazil. The presentation highlighted SOLVARIX’s potential to reduce agriculture’s ecological impact while maintaining crop productivity. Dr. Debora Wilk, BioConsortia’s Director of Plant Pathology, revealed the findings during the BioControl and BioStimulant – LATAM meeting. “SOLVARIX, in both the USA and Brazil, has demonstrated direct control of important nematode pests and increased corn yields by 578 kilograms per hectare (8.6 bushels per acre) on average,” Dr. Wilk reported. “The product is highly consistent, delivering increased yields in 91% of all trials, and outperforming leading chemical nematicides in yield contribution and consistency.” Read more here -> https://lnkd.in/eBb2Zc29

Recently we had a cold spell of low teens F for a long period of time. Now it is unusually hot. I knew the limitations of the greenhouse even with supplemental heat. It is drafty, but air flow is generally a good thing in our mixed climate. So I had to let it roll, sit back and see what the plants were genetically capable of or primed to withstand on cold exposure. Plants shown are various CBD and CBG cultivars with various training and priming histories. Some are backup mothers and others are long term sample observations from prior expirements. With plant memory and epigenetics you have to consider plant history. The ratio of minimum inputs to rapid and long term, even generational effects is interesting. It does not take much to move the point of dynamic equalibrium. But to do that requires longer term plant studies, which would indicate for how long will it remember it's training. One of the amazingly regenerative cycles that fascinates me is revegetation along with how many repetitive and productive cycles can you do that and not exhaust the plant. Perennial cannabis anyone? My average reveg cycle count is 2 before they exhaust. To me reveg is tissue reorientation on the level of rebuilding a limb on a salamander, for example, and of course there are great similarities between animal and plant systems at the nano level forming structures. How can you engage this natural plant signalling and regulatory system for more sustainable crops? #hempfarming #hempresearch #cannabisresearch #somaticmemory #epigenetics #thigmopriming #cannabonsai

Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) have emerged as a promising tool in the fight against crop damage caused by fungal pathogens, a significant hurdle in achieving global food security and the 'Zero Hunger' goal. Researchers at Southern Federal University have developed a novel approach to creating AgNPs using the juice of Citrus medica L., commonly known as citron[1]. This study represents a step forward in sustainable agriculture, offering a potential eco-friendly solution to protect crops from destructive fungi. https://lnkd.in/e2CAws_5 https://lnkd.in/eiuAmbT3
