Excellent read Sanjay and Shashi highlighting the unique propositions of Telco industry 'growth' and 'revenue' strategy. Telco situation is like a humble elder brother who must adopt 5G and other latest trend and technologies to serve the 5G enabled Industry solutions such as healthcare or smart city or agriculture etc...OR/AND ensure smooth operation amidst microeconomic factors AND maintain their brand and reputation...while realizing the 'actual' revenue they bring on the ground. Telco leaders must appreciate the New business strategy like some CSPs are already embarking including the energy retailer concept or competing with the OTT players (e.g. combo plan offer of telco and energy product offerings/solution readiness and competency by leading SIs/SaaS players) #InfosysSalesforce #vlocity #Salesforce #SalesforceIndustries). In future, Data center has to handle the proliferated growth of AI/ML applications as well which is yet another dimension to look at...where CSP will struggle to serve better with enhanced infrastructure cost, liquid cooling for temperature control and above all the ESG factors. Overall, this article provides a unique foundation for Telco Leaders to take a pause and think through/reflect on the strategy to serve various industries today/tomorrow while also realizing how to maintain the ongoing services for those industries in longer term.

Every day, my role in the telecom industry changes to that of a pilot manoeuvring the storms of regulation and innovation. It's important to be able to survive in uncertainty and turn possible threats into opportunities for innovation in order to develop endurance and quickly adjust to regulatory changes. Really, this trip is excitement. Every new rule or change in the market prompts a surge in rapid analysis. This kind of agility transforms potential hurdles into stepping stones, driving us towards a future where flexibility and foresight are as intrinsic as the tech. It takes a change of perspective to embrace this changing business environment. It's important to create a culture that rewards proactive innovation and adaptation rather than just responding to changes as they occur. The objective is evident: create a better future. We grow because of this perspective, which promises that any change in regulations serves as a spur for expansion and that every risk presents a fresh chance for innovation and leadership. #leadership #telecom #innovation #growth #success
