Innovation, Product, NIL

Shira Springer put it best: as the NIL marketplace continues to evolve, everyone involved needs to consistently ask and find answers to the question of how can we ensure an equitable NIL experience for all. https://lnkd.in/eAgNzrnT Women athletes expect half of what men athletes do, given the same deal. So if those expectations are reality, women have to obtain and manage 2-3x the number of deals as men. And then execute on those deals. Time isn’t exactly in abundance for any college student, let alone a student-athlete… There are opportunities to close to gaps; we need the evaluative research to understand where the gaps lie and understand the best ways to close them. I have my own takes on how this should start to happen… so let’s chat if you’re interested. Any student-athlete, AD administrator, or NIL exec. Thank you, Shira, for featuring my research in your column. Your writing resonates with me and I hope it does with decision-makers in the NIL space. And thank you Chris Rider for your research guidance. The inspiration for this research was sparked during your inaugural Equity Analytics class and it’s really cool to see it make its way to SBJ.
