Did you know it's a myth that robins are the first sign of spring? In fact, most don't migrate, at least not in the way we tend to think. Young readers (and adults!) can learn more about these common--yet fascinating--birds in my new book, YOU ARE A ROBIN! https://lnkd.in/gGaaviSX

Publishing day today! And it’s a double whammy… an exciting book full of dazzling visions of what the future may look like, as well an enlightening book about how to study, learn and reflect on the past (and no, I was not involved in scheduling 😂). Both books feel particularly relevant today with how unsettled the world feels right now, with conflict and disaster being daily news. Now more than ever, it’s important for all of us to reflect and learn from our past mistakes as a society and try and build the best future we can, one day at a time.

Design and User Experience Leader, specialising in Research and Research Ops. Previously led research teams at Meta and Babylon Health. Writer, speaker.
The long awaited must read on Research Ops is available to pre-order. This promises to be an invaluable source of help for anyone grappling with operational inefficiencies. Go sign up for it!
ResearchOps advisor. Author of "Research That Scales: The Research Operations Handbook" (Rosenfeld, 2024). Founder of the Cha Cha Club–a members' club for ResearchOps professionals.
An actual copy of my book, "Research That Scales: The #ResearchOps Handbook", has been sitting on my desk for the past week, and I've finally gotten used to the idea that it's actually a thing! It literally takes a village to turn a manuscript into a decent manuscript and then into a book that you can read. But the hugest thanks go to the Rosenfeld Media crew, especially Louis Rosenfeld and Marta Justak, and my husband, Glenn Familton. 🔗 Pre-order here: https://lnkd.in/epi54Jnv

Geopolitics of energy currently epitomizes one of the principal sources for geopolitical vicissitudes affecting global energy landscapes. The ever-changing global energy architecture, global decarbonization plans and low-carbon technology developments are having deep geopolitical consequences. The book deals with the fundamental question of how, and to what extent, will the multiple dimensions of the ongoing energy transitions affect existing fundamental geopolitical issues, and what new dynamics may result from the decarbonization process of the planet?
Decarbonisation is the topic of the century. This book gives the reader a good part of it… (Scopus).

Kate worked so hard for so long, so it's especially gratifying to see her getting to finally hold the book in her hands. Congratulations Kate! And congrats to the UXR field. Oh, and the book is launching... TOMORROW! That means you have one more day to take advantage of the 15% off pre-order price. This book is a double dose of angels, as Andy Myers explores the phenomenon from two different perspectives. The first section focuses on spirit guides, and how readers can communicate with them. The rest of the book is bursting at the seams with fresh content that you won’t find in other angel books. Learn more: https://bit.ly/3N8KOyy
