🌟 Celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 🌟 As we continue National Apprenticeship Week, it's a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey of our Elevate programmes. Drawing from my experience as a tutor, I've always known the undeniable value of workshops in an apprenticeship curriculum. It's thrilling to see how these sessions have become a pivotal element in our programmes, especially in supporting learners with anxiety. 🔍 Focus on Anxiety and Learning: Our workshops have been instrumental in aiding learners who struggle with anxiety. We've seen a beautiful transformation: learners who initially would only communicate via chat, gradually find their voice and confidence to actively engage in discussions and activities with their peers. 🌱 Growth in Confidence: This evolution from reserved to active participation is not just remarkable, it’s empowering. It's a journey that unfolds within the safe and nurturing confines of our workshops. 👏 Acknowledging Our Workshop Tutors: This transformation is made possible by the incredible dedication and skill of our workshop tutors, Luke Radford and Naomi Graham. Their ability to bring our content to life and create an environment where learners feel safe to grow is nothing short of amazing. 📈 Outstanding Feedback: The impact of their work is evident in the feedback we've received. 💥 Top Tips for applying for jobs in the UK 💥 1. There's a huge difference between Internships & graduate jobs 👩🎓 - Internships/placements are undertaken whilst still in education. - when you finish university, you want to look for a graduate/job role now. 2. ALWAYS tailor your CV/application to the organisation you are applying for ✍ Sending out 100 of the same CV will not get you that dream job. 3. ALWAYS read the job description/specification 👀 Somewhere it will state 'person specification' 'what we need from you' 'requirements' or something along these lines and make sure it relates to you and then tailor your application to these requirements. 4. Upload your CV as a Word Document not PDF 📃 5. Keep personal information to a minimum 🤐 Personal photos, nationality, marital status, age, national insurance number and your references details must not be included on your CV in Compliance with Data Protection Rules in the UK.
