Law Firm of Friedman + Bartoumian’s Post

U.S. law states that no one can be convicted of a crime unless his guilt is proven beyond a reasonable doubt. However, in practice, many criminal defendants are wrongfully convicted, serving years in prison or even receiving the death penalty despite their innocence. In the 1956 film noir Beyond a Reasonable Doubt, two men decide to protest the death penalty by planting clues to make it look like one of them committed a murder. Once the first man gets convicted, his partner would reveal the evidence showing that it was all a hoax. However, the plan goes awry when a fiery car crash kills the partner and burns up the first man’s proof of innocence. What happens next is one of the most shocking twist endings in film history. Beyond a Reasonable Doubt was directed by Fritz Lang (widely regarded as one of the greatest filmmakers of all time), based on a screenplay by Douglas Morrow, and starring Dana Andrews and Joan Fontaine. #ForTheBestDefense #AlwaysBeClosing #FriedmanBartoumian #TheBestDefense #BeyondAReasonableDoubt #LawMoviePosterFriday #MoviePosterFriday #Movie #LegalFilm #Film #Lawyers #Lawyer #Law #Legal
