In this video, the reviewer looks at the new Marantz Model M1 and Model M4 amplifiers. The Marantz Model M1 is a compact powerful amplifier with 100 watts per channel output. https://lnkd.in/gWwJUHan It offers a variety of connections including high quality speaker binding posts, inputs for digital including USB-A for a USB stick, stereo RCA analog inputs, Digital Optical input, HDMI for TV eARC, and Ethernet for network streaming and Wi-Fi connectivity. The Model M4 offers 4 Zone capability with 8 channels of 100 watts each. It has 4 USB inputs, 4 stereo RCA inputs for analog signals, and two digital optical inputs. It is 2RU high and fits into a rack system of it can be shelf mounted. Both deploy the HEOS streaming platform and if needed, these units can be combined for up to 64 zones. The Model M4 can be stacked and has cooling fans when the heat conduction away from the chassis is needed. The Model M4 can be bridged to deliver double the power of 200 watts. The amplifiers in both use the Axign Class D amplification and have a post filter feedback system that suppress all influences of the output filter, power stage, power supply, or load. This makes the the unit dead silent! From input to output the distortion is less than 0.05%.
