EA College Football 25 brought in over $100 million on it's first day? Yesterday was the game's first day of Early Access and over 700K players were playing online concurrently! I'm excited to see the official Early Access numbers. It's more than likely that well over 1 million players played yesterday. EA College Football 25 is surely going to be one of the most successful sports games of all-time. So, how much did EA make? The game had two options for Early Access, one for $100 and one for $150. 710,000 players at $100 per is $71 million but it's likely the actual number was over $100 million or more. It was only the first day of the game's early access so there's much more to come. I haven't personally played just yet, how about you? 👀 #gaming #marketing #cfb25 (pic via bordeauxyoutube on X)

⚽️ 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐀 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐂 𝟐𝟓: 𝐀 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐞-𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐭-𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐮𝐧 ⚽️ Today I wanna talk about my personal passion: Football games. I admit. I was impacted by EA SPORTS pre-sale discounts and have bought the fresh new #EAFC25. Every year, the game has only slight updates that are enough to make me spend hours and hours in it for the whole year. This year was different, though. I bought the game just to be surprised with the new Rush game mode. This 5v5 mode is designed for quick, high-scoring action, replacing the Volta mode with something that’s both familiar and refreshingly new. The tweaks to the offside rule, smaller pitch, and the intense sprint for ball possession make it a unique and engaging experience for players who thrive on speed and strategy. Rush mode isn’t just a casual play option— it’s integrated into key parts of the game like Ultimate Team and Pro Clubs, which means it’s going to have a significant impact on how players approach their squads and strategies. If you’re curious about how this mode is shaking things up, check out this article for a deep dive into all the features and what it means for the future of EA Sports FC: https://lnkd.in/dgB5QjZQ Or alternatively, enjoy my game winner score during Golden Goal. I think I've got some talent 😎 What do you think about Rush mode? Will it change the way you play? #EASportsFC25 #RushMode #MobileGaming #GameDevelopment #FootballGames

Game of FIFA, anyone? Remember those days when we used to say it out loud? But now, EA Sports has dropped the licensing deal and renamed it to EA FC 24 or FC Mobile if you are playing on your phone. Not as catchy, right? So, what was the effect of dropping this household brand name, synonymous with gaming and clear market leader? You might be surprised to know that they had a great year! Despite the big gamble, EA FC 24 is the best-selling game in 2024 in the UK, with gaming in general up 2.9%, of which 90% are digital sales. Hogwarts Legacy and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 follow at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively. So, the huge drops in revenue, massive fall from grace, and a stampede of competitors taking over the top spot did not happen. What do you think about this change? Share your thoughts in the comments below. And, if anyone fancies a game, look for NotoriousGHT 😉 Link below. #marketing #branding Post written with the help of #ai
