After 9-weeks, I have finished my internship at Berkeley Lab. I am incredibly grateful for this amazing opportunity full of learning and gaining insight into the world of research. Over the past summer, I enjoyed delving into the world of pangenomes and working under my mentors, spending hours coding together in Python and C++. I want to extend an enormous thank you to everybody at University of California, Merced and the Joint Genome Institute who made this experience possible, and to all the wonderful interns I met during my time here.
