Aspiring Healthcare Leader | MBA Healthcare Candidate @VPSM DY Patil University | HR Intern @Jupiter Hospital ( HRIS & Onboarding ) | Phlebotomy & Customer Service Background | B.Sc. Botany |
Title: "Unveiling the True Scope of 𝙃𝒐𝙨𝒑𝙞𝒕𝙖𝒍 𝑨𝙙𝒎𝙞𝒏𝙞𝒔𝙩𝒓𝙖𝒕𝙞𝒐𝙣"🏥 When I began exploring a career in hospital administration, I pictured it as a role mostly spent behind a desk, interacting with employees and Medical Staff . 🖥️However, I’ve discovered that hospital administration is far more comprehensive and dynamic. Hospital administration involves managing a wide range of functions to ensure a healthcare facility operates smoothly and effectively. 🌟Here’s a snapshot of what it includes: -Operations management-Overseeing daily activities to ensure everything runs efficiently. This means coordinating between different departments and ensuring workflows are optimized. - Financial Management: Handling budgets, financial planning, and reporting to keep the hospital financially healthy. - Human Resources: Managing recruitment, training, and employee relations. HR plays a crucial role in maintaining a motivated and well-trained staff. - Strategic Planning: Developing long-term goals and strategies to guide the hospital’s growth and improvement. - Information Technology: Managing the hospital’s IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR) and data security. - Quality Assurance: Ensuring that patient care meets high standards and implementing quality control measures. - Marketing and Communications: Promoting the hospital’s services, managing its public image, and communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. As I dive deeper into my 𝑴𝑩𝑨 studies in healthcare, I’ve come to realise how multifaceted and essential hospital administration is. If you’re considering a career in this field, it’s important to understand these various components and choose the area that aligns with your interests and skills.📚

Building interprofessional teams with ease | Bridging science to practice | Team development strategies | Patient Advocate | Let's build high performing teams together!
Job alert for my colleagues with an education background and want to transition into practice. HCA had this position and another higher level interprofessional position posted about a year ago. It’s good to see this position is still desired as a component of their CT&I space. Questions to ask during the interview: 1. Was the position last year filled? If so, what opportunity did the previous manager decide to pursue after? 2. What interprofessional projects are currently ongoing? 3. How have the interprofessional projects benefited the patient and the other members of the team. Add any other questions to the comments. Let’s support those interested in this position. That is what team members do…support one another.

Here’s the secret for hospital executives to keep your doctors happy. 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁: it’s rarely only about the money. Doctors tell us that three things matter most in their employment deals: - Reasonable work/life balance - Adequate clinical and administrative support; and - Fair pay for my work If doctors felt supported by hospital and practice executives, I wouldn’t have a job.

Reflecting on My House Job Journey: A Year of Growth, Learning, and Resilience. As I look back on my house job experience, I'm filled with a deep sense of gratitude for the journey that shaped me both professionally and personally. It was a year marked by long hours, challenging cases, and moments of intense learning—each of which contributed to the doctor I am today. During this time, I had the privilege of working alongside some of the most dedicated and compassionate professionals in healthcare. From late-night emergency calls to the early morning rounds, every moment was a lesson in patience, teamwork, and the importance of empathy in patient care. The steep learning curve taught me the value of resilience, the necessity of continuous learning, and the importance of leaning on your team. There were days when the demands seemed overwhelming, but it was in these moments that I found my strength and reaffirmed my passion for medicine. I'm incredibly thankful for the mentors who guided me, the colleagues who supported me, and the patients who trusted me with their care. Each interaction was a step towards becoming a better clinician, a more thoughtful listener, and a more compassionate caregiver. As I move forward in my career, I carry these experiences with me, knowing that they will continue to shape my approach to medicine. Here's to the journey ahead, and to all those who are just beginning theirs—embrace every challenge, learn from every experience, and never forget the impact you can have on someone’s life. #Medicine #Healthcare #MedicalJourney #HouseJob #LearningAndGrowth #Resilience

Self-Discovery as a result of employment waffling for six months. My life-long career in every aspect of healthcare came to an abrupt end this past summer. I had been in that field for 50 years, and I didn't expect to be job searching this late in life. Nevertheless, here I am, and although I didn't get rich spending so much time without work, I had the greatest gift one can receive: time. I spent my time getting to really know myself and discovering what kind of position would be a good fit. I never had any doubt that I would probably remain in the healthcare arena, but I have looked at it from a new and completely different point of view. I now can see myself in some kind of administrative or management position, and I gravitate more and more toward research in healthcare. So, I am certainly more defined to myself, at least, but where that will take me: who knows?

A Versatile Virtual Assistant with expertise in managing schedules, handling communications, and streamlining administrative tasks|| SEO content writer
★ Did You Know That The VA Role Started Long Before The 2020 Global Shift?‽ ★ The role of a ‘Virtual Assistant’ wasn’t always as widespread as it is today, but it has deep roots. Those in administrative support roles since the 19th century were typically referred to as Secretaries. Over time, as the workplace evolved and the responsibilities of the role expanded, the title of Secretary evolved to Assistant. Individuals were drawn to the job for various reasons: Firstly, the global economic crisis hit traditional employment hard, eliminating many jobs. As companies closed offices, small businesses found a staffing solution on the internet. They could hire by the hour with equal or better efficiency than hiring in-house, and without the added costs of full-time employees. Secondly, individuals facing challenging circumstances—such as caring for ill relatives, family obligations, or location constraints—found opportunities in the online job market as Virtual Assistants. Thirdly, and perhaps most importantly, the role offered attractive benefits: autonomy, freedom, and control over one’s time and location. Because of the strong benefits that VAs bring to both businesses and professionals, the demand for them has increased, and the need for their services continues to grow. Dear VAs, isn’t it so cool to know you are on the right path!?
