“I’m really good at being an employment adviser because I’ve had literally over 50 jobs in my life. I have real-world experience that helps our candidates. “It’s wonderful to be able to help people to handle that temporal area of their life. It’s wonderful because we are helping people, and it’s terrible because we cannot help enough. “We can point people in the right direction, we can tweak résumés, and we can give them advice from our life experiences, but ultimately, their future is not in our hands, and we are only here to help how we can. “Sometimes I feel like we have to do a ‘Princess Diaries’ makeover on someone with their job search—and some need more help than others—but the first thing we do is give them hope. I let them know that they have value. We want to give them hope that it’ll come to pass. “We have a bell in our center, and people can come and ring the bell when they get a job. We usually ring that bell every day or every other day at least. We have success all the time. “And sometimes it isn’t even the ultimate success in getting employment. "We give them hope." that might be the most important sentence I've read today. The job search can be daunting, and a little hope can go a long way.
It's amazing ! I am one of the member who are looking to work in the church but i never got selected for the interview since I started to apply for the position in my location after my mission. I need help so I can serve the lord, pay my tithes and provide for my life even people around me. I am willing and open to learn new skills anytime but i need to be recommended for a position or trained to a position. Hope this message it will become my blessing to connect me with recruiters

7moI was originally called in the early 90’s as a WEmploy spec & placed 109, so they saw fit to make me a Stk Employ Spec. - They said it was a “sleeper calling”. They lied (lol). We placed 1836. You are spot on in the types of services that are needed beyond just looking for work. Thanks for sharing.
