While browsing the Church’s website, Jordan Foutin stumbled upon the Starting a Side Business group from Employment Services. He was intrigued by the idea of venturing into entrepreneurship with the goal of his enterprise becoming his full-time endeavor. He joined the group and has had a fantastic experience. According to Jordan, one of the program’s standout aspects is the opportunity to learn from fellow entrepreneurs’ successes and setbacks. Understanding their diverse backgrounds, educational paths, and professional challenges has provided Jordan with invaluable insights into entrepreneurship. He described the group as “a treasure trove of like-minded and hearted individuals united by the goal of positively impacting the world.” “If anybody is considering ‘could I attend the Starting Your Own Business workshop?’ My answer is ‘Yes. Do it. You won’t regret it.’” Jordan has since launched a few products, and his business continues to grow daily. His story is a testament to the power of community, mentorship, and lifelong learning. It reminds us that anyone can pursue entrepreneurial dreams with the proper support and mindset.
