The States Assembly has approved the enactment of The Children (Convention Rights) (Jersey) Law 2022 – finally! Legally, children’s rights must now be considered by the decision makers going forward. Children’s Rights Impact Assessments must be prepared to determine whether a relevant decision is likely to have a direct or indirect impact on children.
