Students from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) spoke to our LEAD Luminaries, Gazi Amanul Hoque and Nazifa Nawar Eshika, about how they improve their skills and acquire new ones. They mentioned how learning technical skills, like graphic design and digital marketing, can help in the long run. Furthermore, taking part in internships, case competitions, and voluntary work adds valuable experience. Happy Massachusetts STEM Week! This year's theme focuses on “STEM starts now"—with a goal to boost the interest, awareness, and ability of all students to see themselves in STEM opportunities. We have some amazing statistics to share from Project Onramp, our summer internship program that creates access in the life sciences industry for talented, motivated college students who are under-resourced and often first-generation. A campus life plan is a structured and measurable plan to be a guideline and milestone for our lives during the 4-year or 8-semester college environment. The life plan itself certainly depends on each individual who lives it. My own life plan in semesters 1 & 2 will focus on academics in order to get the highest GPA and join organizations to expand my relationships and foster a sense of leadership within me. In semesters 3 & 4 I plan to start focusing on several organizations that I will join, of course I want to take a certain position to be able to support my college life. Don't forget that I will continue to maintain my academics in order to prepare for the scholarship later. In the next semester, namely semesters 5 & 6, I will try to apply for an internship abroad to foster my future career. Of course, this overseas internship is an important capital to plan for the future. In the next semesters 7 & 8 I will focus on my final assignment or thesis while looking for as many relationships as possible to work after graduating from ITS. These are the things that are the plans during my college years, hopefully with this plan it can be achieved and on time #HIMATEKTROITS #OKKBKELEKTROITS2024 #LIFEPLAN Annas Rovizain

One of our fabulous interns leaves us today to return to his university studies. On behalf of all the team here at IDE we'd like to thank you Dillon de Silva for your valued contribution to our business and wish you all the best for the future! Dillon took some time to share his experience - here is what he had to say; "Interning at IDE Group was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. What stood out to me the most was the seamless integration of practical skills with theoretical knowledge. From day one, I found myself deeply involved in the R&D process, contributing ideas and seeing them come to life. The support from the team was exceptional. I never expected to feel so involved, but the encouragement to share ideas and the capacity to run with them made me feel truly valued. Comparing my experience to other internships, IDE Group stood out for its dynamic environment and steep learning curve. I was exposed to a variety of projects and environments, constantly challenging myself in new ways. Throughout my internship, I learned invaluable lessons. Attention to detail, troubleshooting, time management, and above all, effective communication were key takeaways. My favourite moment? Undoubtedly, it was running tests, gathering and then analysing data to determine causes of fluid loss in a mechanical system. Witnessing the speed of idea genesis and seeing the direct impact of my work on design changes was incredibly fulfilling.'' #internshipopportunity #medtech #medtechinnovation #medicaltechnology #usyd #biomedicalengineering

April 16th was very special for me! It marked the completion of my first internship at Rehabilitation Society of the Visually Impaired in the spoken English Department. And guess what? On that very same day, I received an offer letter for another internship. Talking about my experience at RSVI. It won't be wrong if I put it as my dream work. It wasn't just a job; it was my passion. Helping others, and making a difference. It gave me a purpose and fulfillment. My students at RSVI were not just students; they were individuals with unique and motivating stories. Never made me realize that they were visually challenged. From high schoolers to master's students, they all looked up to me as "Aayushi ma'am." Initially, that title felt heavy. Could I be their mentor, their guide? Am I capable enough? But with time, I embraced the responsibility and their trust fueled me with energy. Their cooperation and feedback guided me in shaping my teaching methods and giving my best. All of my students are an inspiration to me. Hats off to them and their determination! I owe a huge thanks to Rehabilitation Society of the Visually Impaired and especially to Prakhar Verma for believing in me. Through this experience, I grew not just professionally but as a person. I learned the true meaning of empathy, gratitude, dedication and responsibility. And oh, did I mention? April 16th was also my birthday. #internship #socialwork #education #selfgrowth #socialimpact #loveandsupport
