Instead of asking your people, "What can you do for me and my business?", ask them three questions: “What do you think?” "How are you feeling?" "How can I help?" When you ask, listen intently, respond empathetically, and act promptly to take appropriate corrective action, your people will feel respected, appreciated, and valued. You will inspire and empower them to develop themselves and engage others. One of the most valuable things you can give to a team member is your uninterrupted attention. Listen, mentor, and give feedback regularly. Everyone want to be valued for their efforts.

Everyone wants one thing from their leaders and peers, they want to know that they are seen, heard, and valued. Simple as it sounds, this truth is seldom executed well. When you stop at a gas station, do you take the time to read the attendant's name badge and call them by name? When you eat at a restaurant, do you remember the waiter or waitress' name and use it when thanking them? Simple things that make a big difference. Listen to people, look them in the eyes, be present, and show them how much you value them by caring about what they say. This alone will set you apart from 99% of all leaders.

To many Leaders say they got your back they don’t I’ve seen it I’ve lived it time to get out unfortunately those bad leaders aren’t going anywhere
