The increasing computational capabilities of star tracker microcontrollers, coupled with their integration into the majority of spacecraft buses, present an opportunity to incorporate additional functionality. Here at arcsec, we are taking advantage of this opportunity to enable platforms integrating Sagitta star trackers to contribute to clean space guidelines without requiring additional hardware.

Regulation is important as is oversight. That being said, SpaceX has launched 70 rockets successfully this year and is attempting to get the next gen rocket program underway. Space is risky business and a private enterprise is betting its capital on it. Why would it take so long to get approval, and more importantly why is there so much regulation for getting Starship tested again. Are we seeing the formation of a new practice by non-governmentals to take direct responsibility for debris from launch vehicles and reentered spacecraft? Non-governmental space activities are still national activities chargeable under the Liability Convention and subject to indemnification. It's possible non-governmentals like Space X have decided that it would be better to step up, assume liability and pay compensation directly. The aerospace giant reported a profit of $55 million against $1.5 billion in revenue during the first quarter of 2023. This shift comes on the heels of two years marked by substantial, albeit narrowing, losses for SpaceX. The publication of SpaceX's recent financial results, as presented by the Journal, is unusual, including both costs and traditional profitability metrics.
