Leadership New Hampshire (LNH) is pleased to announce the appointment of Will Stewart as its next Executive Director following a comprehensive search. In this role he will oversee the organization's strategic direction, program development, and financial management. Stewart brings a deep commitment to civic engagement in New Hampshire and extensive experience in nonprofit leadership roles. For the past seven years, he was the executive director of Stay Work Play New Hampshire. Previously, Stewart was the President & CEO of the Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber and Vice President of Economic Development & Advocacy at the Greater Manchester Chamber. "We are excited to welcome Will to LNH,” said Mica Stark, Vice Chair of the LNH Board of Trustees and Chair of the Search Committee. "Will really impressed the Search Committee with his knowledge of New Hampshire and the issues it is facing, as well as his track record leading nonprofits and successfully engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders.” Stewart said he is honored and excited to lead LNH, which counts more than 1,100 past and present Granite State leaders among its alumni. “I also feel an incredible sense of responsibility,” Stewart said. “Leadership New Hampshire is the state’s premier leadership organization and I look forward to working with the Board, staff, alumni, and partners across the state to help lead LNH into the next phase of its development.” Stewart’s appointment follows a comprehensive search process. LNH would like to thank the members of the Search Committee for their time and commitment: Mica Stark, Joe Murray, Mary Jo Brown, Mandy Sliver, Mark Zankel, Dr. Karinne Jervis, and Dianne Mercier. LNH would like to also thank Koya Partners, from Diversified Search Group, for their assistance with the search. I was on the first Board as we crafted, with Cotton Cleveland, how LNH would achieve it goals. The idea came out of Gov Gregg’s Commission on the 21st Century. Just great to have you on board to continue this Leadership Initiative made so rich by its design. A real example of “e pluribus unum”.

Congratulations, Will! Your passion and experience will no doubt help LNH thrive. 👏

Very exciting! I saw firsthand working at the state senate this spring just how committed Will is to a strong and livable New Hampshire! Looking forward to what's ahead for this community of leaders.
