Low-potency hemp edible products are able to still be sold in the state as long as the products and the business meet statutory requirements. The law does not limit the types of locations that can sell these products. Businesses that are currently selling such products need to register with the Office of Cannabis Management. #MnCities #InTheWeedsWithLMC

Cannabis is a capital intensive business. Cultivation sites need 💰 Manufacturing facilities need 💰 Dispensaries need 💰 Now multiply that by 40 states and Washington, DC, that have their own rules and regulations around the industry. Darn right dizzying. Especially compared to well-entrenched, national consumer brand companies. #cannabisindustry #alternativeinvestments #cannabiscapital

Have your say in hemp policy’s future, submit your comments today! As we shared a few months ago, the U.S. Hemp Authority (USHA) – the #hemp industry’s self-regulatory organization – announced plans to introduce an adult cannabinoid certification program, to complement its existing standard for non-intoxicating products. Hemp products with the potential to impair – such as Delta 8- and Delta 9-THC – have proliferated with no federal regulation in recent years, leading to growing concerns about quality, safety and access by minors. The adult standards – linked below – were developed by an expert Technical Committee and approved by the USHA Board of Directors. Major thanks go out to USHA President Chris Fontes for his steadfast leadership, and to hemp super-lawyer Rod Kight for penning the final draft. Now it’s your turn. Today launches a 30-day public comment period, during which we are asking hemp industry stakeholders – farmers, processors, manufacturers, brand owners, store proprietors – to weigh in with their thoughts, amendments, ideas, and suggestions. Please review and send your public comment (or questions about the process) by Friday, August 23 to info@ushempauthority.org. Please be sure to share your name, company or organization, and affiliation with the hemp industry.

Newsom threw a Haymaker at the Hemp Industry in CA today with the goal of outright death. His proposed "Emergency Regs" would destroy hemp as we know it and shutter all businesses in the State. -5 servings per container sold in or out of state would shut our business down.. Read the below article and some of my comments to Benzinga on the matter. We have 5 days to fight because of the Emergency Order.... I guess this an Emergency? Gavin owns a winery... Alcohol sales must be down from THC beverages at Total Wine... Or better yet Cannabis taxes are down (coudn't be over taxation could it)? No it's all about the Kids... Solution is simple: 21+ CR Packaging .3% THC or less No packaging that depicts cartoons or animals etc Let's NOT cause more businesses in CA to leave CA, have more people lose their jobs, and restrict access to affordable medicine.

May 2024 be the year when the SA government decides to serve the people with pro-poor cannabis industry development, that enables existing landrace dagga farmers to utilise the whole plant for food, fuel, fibre, and medicine through situating agro-processing facilities in the heart of existing production areas and securing avenues to market for the manufactured goods that include a broad acceptance of cannabis medicine, food, and substitute products for industrial development.
