Governance I Freedom & Equality I Peace & Security

Africa has a leadership deficit and this has been reflected by poor socioeconomic and political environment that has characterises the lives of those in the continent. The continent failed to translate the pan-African optimism present immediately after independence into concrete socioeconomic developmental outputs.Poor malevolent, leadership, predatory kleptocrats, military-installed autocrats, economic illiterates seems to characterises premiers of states across the continent. It might seem elusive, but it is only through accountable leadership that Africa can transform into a politically, economically and socially competitive region in the global economy. It is about time that the youth and women (being the biggest demographic) organise and be the centre of transformational leadership that Africa desperately needs to the realise the benefits of the 'Eldorado' that it is and deliver us to 'Canaan' where every African has food on their plates, access to health care, education, employment etc (meeting its human security needs).#Africawewant #SDG #Generationequality #SDG5 #UNSCR2225 #sustainabledevelopment #leadership

Really!!! I beg to disagree, the 'cancer' that eats into Africa is the external interference into the 'virgin' continent of Africa 🌍 that was hurriedly forced into 'civilization' and negative media publicity.....
