When reaching out to a lot of #talentacquisition folks, there is sometimes a hesitancy to engage.
In most cases its due to a sour taste in their mouth from working with a contingency recruitment agency.
When trying to build a cohesive team, hiring people is like working on a puzzle. You want a team with drive, complimentary skills, similar values and great energy.
Many times in the fast paced world of contingency recruitment, less time is usually spent on discovery and research.
There is 'Pressure' on the recruiter to make a hire in order to get paid. They are on a clock internally and limited with how much time and resources they can spend on every contingent deal.
The likely hood of making a hire is between 8-15% (contingent industry average), so the more time spent in discovery can be viewed as drawing out the process and making it less efficient.
