#ThursdayThoughts I think it’s fair to assume that almost everyone has been lied to or misled while making a purchase. I grew up training and trading horses, and one thing my father used to tell me fairly often when I started making my own deals was ”if a horse trader is talking, they’re lying!” I quickly learned through experience that one single lie discovered is enough to create doubt in every truth told. That’s why I make it a point to be honest (sometimes to a fault). In my eyes, that’s the only way to build long term relationships based on trust and fairness.
