Women are more likely than men to have their skills go unrecognized and be passed over for raises or promotions. That makes it more important to carefully prepare for negotiations in advance. These steps can help. For more tips, check out our newly launched #WomenAtWorkCollection — a leadership training program designed specifically for women by women. So tell us, what do you do when all these boxes are checked and you literally get ignored? Then what. This advice is not aligned with the actual real world and it does not really work in most cases. I know, I’ve lived it.

All of these only help if your line manager is not an a-hole and is willing to actually support you in return for your results, motivation and potential. That's what you need to find out before even doing any of these. Otherwise you can only use these at the next interview trying to find a better leadership above you.

Okay, cool. One must do their part. Afterall, that's what one can do ☺️ I wonder why aren't there so much lessons for the receivers ,who will eventually listen to these points, and their role in realising someone's potential. One needs a 'person to listen' and 'act'.
