Leap Group agencies will be closed today to celebrate Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery on June 19, 1865. While our country has come a long way, we know there are still many opportunities to create a more just and equitable society for all. That’s why we implemented a robust, data-informed IE&D roadmap to create more diverse, equitable, and inclusive experiences and work at Leap. As LGBTQ+ owned and women-owned businesses, we’ve always known that the diverse voices and perspectives that make up our group are what drive us to be most creative and impactful. We’re passionately committed to making our workplaces – both virtual and in-person – welcoming, safe and inclusive spaces where everyone feels empowered to do their best work. (And have fun doing it, too!) #Juneteenth #DEI #WorkplaceDiversity #AdvertisingAgency #DigitalAgency #DiversityInAdvertising #DiversityInMarketing

We believe everyone should be able to be themselves at work - that’s why we’re proud to support “Mutual Pride” one of our Employee Network Groups. The group aims to raise visibility and awareness of the LGBTQ+ community, their experiences and history, and issues they may face. The group is open to all staff including homeworkers, advocates, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. The group aims to: • Connect LGBTQ+ NFU Mutual employees and allies to provide support, networking and social opportunities. • Promoting issues, awareness and celebrations. • Provide a connection point, signposting available resources and identifying where additional resources are required. • Give employees the confidence to engage with one another without any barriers. • Empower employees to bring their whole selves to work. We recently spoke with our Co-chairs Becky and Scott and asked them how Mutual Pride has made an impact at NFU Mutual. #NFUMutual #FinancialServices #MutualPride #GreatPlacetoWork #DiversityAndInclusion

In recognition of their equal rights, we at Nord Security have introduced an inclusive “Time Off” policy, offering family-related leave benefits beyond the binary approach 🏳️🌈 Curious about the details? Read our latest blog via the link in the comments, where Karina Dajoraite-Dirvonskiene, our Chief People Officer, introduces the new policy and discusses the positive changes an inclusive workplace can bring 🕊️ #NordSecurity

Traditional LGBTQ+ safe spaces in workplaces may not be completely inclusive or welcoming for bi+ people, especially for those in different-gender relationships. This is because bi+ people with different-gender partners are often just assumed to be straight, and their bi+ identity can be completely erased. We suggest three tips to be a bi+ ally at work: 1. Remember that bi+ people want to belong and feel included. 2. Understand that bi+ people experience unique prejudices from both outside and within LGBTQ+ communities, which can have harmful consequences. 3. Represent the bi+ identity and community in dialogue and plans related to LGBTQ+ issues. No matter the gender of someone's partner or relationship status, remember to not assume their identity. As 23 September marks Bi+ Visibility Day, we celebrate diversity and continue our commitment to make the world of work a better place. #ProudToBelong #BiVisibilityDay
