Happy 25th Birthday to Us! 🥳 That’s right, this month we’re celebrating a quarter century of helping our clients Matter More. In July 1999, Alan Gilleo and Daniel Knapp took the big leap that created Leap Group, and ever since then, we’ve stayed fiercely independent within a changing advertising landscape and an increasingly competitive global market. Last year alone, Leap Group added 30 new employees, signed 13 new clients, and was named to the Inc. 5000 list in 2023 for demonstrating 238% growth over the past three years. In short, Leap Group is thriving — and we plan to do so for another 25 years. Feb 12 was a big day for me, it marked the third anniversary of hosting my first EVER #shoppable #livestream It has been such a joy to be at the forefront of revolutionizing the #shopping experience through shoppable livestreams for T3 Micro Inc hair tools. From #hosting to #producing and programming, this journey has been nothing short of exhilarating. Being in front of the camera has always been my passion, it’s a joy to utilize my skills in such a rewarding way. Embarking on this venture has been one of the most challenging (cue ugly crying when my broadcast software stopped working minutes before my second ever livestream!) Yet rewarding experiences of my life. Through the ups, downs, and inevitable hurdles, I've persevered and grown both personally and professionally. Today, I stand proud to say that I've not only met those challenges head-on but have emerged as a leader in this dynamic space. My dedication, creativity, and passion for delivering exceptional content have allowed me to connect with audiences on a deeper level and drive meaningful results for the T3 brand. I’m so grateful for the opportunities livestreaming has given me, from making new friends in the space, preparing me represent T3 on QVC, working with Pinterest to host their 3-day fashion focused livestream, and so much more! Hello LinkedIn Community! I've always found joy in jotting down my thoughts on my notes app whenever I feel some ideas inspire me. Today, I'm taking that leap from the personal realm to the professional sphere, sharing my passion for something that has fuelled my career and creativity- BRANDS. In the dynamic world of marketing, where every brand tells a unique story, I've decided to embark on a new adventure of sharing my insights, experiences, and thoughts about the ever-evolving landscape of marketing and brands. Since childhood, my fascination with various brands and my habit of scrutinizing product details from the backside instilled a sense of curiosity. As I encountered familiar brand ads on billboards and TV, a persistent question lingered in my mind "Why are these videos or posters everywhere I go?" Growing up in the digital era intensified my curiosity, especially with the advent of influencer marketing and digital ads. This intrigue led me to pursue a degree in marketing, driven by a love for understanding the thoughts, strategies, creative communication, and brand messaging that make marketing so exciting. Recently, Sydney Sweeney's collaboration with Ford caught my attention through a reel on her Instagram. Beyond her celebrity status as an acclaimed actress and auto enthusiast, her partnership with Ford brings credibility and allure to the brand. The focal point of the campaign is the custom-built 2024 Mustang GT, with Sweeney's signature, which adds an element of anticipation and exclusivity. Coming from a family of mechanics, Sweeney's personal touch in brand communication is innovative. The visually compelling storytelling encourages viewers to envision the thrill of nighttime drives. The campaign's emphasis on community engagement through social media contests, fostering inclusivity and user-generated content, is a commendable approach. In essence, I find Ford's new collaboration with Sydney Sweeney to be a successful blend of art, innovation, and passion. Motor sport is no different. We love to see photos and video clips of cars from all eras, but the only thing that will cause an audience to linger, to be curious, to engage, and perhaps to complete a call to action, is a story. We love working with people in motor sport, and we were very fortunate to be asked to cover the super successful season of APR (Algarve Pro Racing) in 2023. Whiteboarding an accelerated go to market x product and brand production offering. We had Florian Auger, founder of our newly formed partner OUTERCRAFT in vvast, D2C at vvast scale HQ this week. Whiteboards were populated and concepts formulated to leverage our two companies respective capabilities. Thanks also to Natasha McKenzie who facilitated the session while ideas flew around the room. The fascinating synergy is so compelling as we have the market data and consumer insights on segment opportunities and areas to evolve existing offers and Florians team have the ability to then execute physical product and brand. OUTERCRAFT leverage a similar test and accelerate philosophy as our #relentlessRandD approach. Small market tests, iterate, test - minimising risk and remaining highly agile. This is a void we've historically never crossed but I'm excited to explore the opportunity here. I've lost count of the number of times we've either suggested to a partner brand to consider more colour ways for example or just simply iterating a US centric product more for the European Market (in fairness we are also listened to on this subject too) 👊. Then add in our purpose led mission and the need to switch our wasteful practices and make long lasting product things get really interesting.
