Being married and co-founders —what a journey it's been. One of the best things about having my husband as my cofounder is that this season of building Leaps hasn’t driven us apart. It’s brought us closer than ever. As a startup founder, you spend so much time with your cofounders. You’re talking to them constantly, going through the lowest lows and the highest highs together — the mistakes, the wins, the learnings, the imposter syndrome, and the late nights. That kind of shared experience creates a unique bond. And for me, that bond has strengthened our relationship. Of course, our entire relationship doesn’t revolve around being business partners (we’ve had to set some boundaries to make sure it doesn’t). But having someone who truly gets it because they’re in it with you makes the long days and tough nights much easier. Today on your birthday, I’m celebrating you, Victor Ijidola. I couldn’t imagine anyone else by my side on this wild ride. Your vision, your drive, your integrity, your creativity, your wisdom, your leadership, your unwavering support, your love.
