Bsc(Hons) Forensic Science| GD Goenka University | Core member of CC-Wing @C.A.S.E 23 Official | SOES AND UID Head at NSS GDGU
😶🌫️ As I embark on my second year at GD Goenka University, I can't help but reflect on the whirlwind that was the first year—an experience filled with challenges, triumphs, and countless memories.😎 From navigating through the inevitable conflicts to discovering friendships that have now become a cornerstone of my university life, time seemed to fly faster than the blink of an eye. Each day brought something new—whether it was staying late in the labs, conducting experiments that sparked my curiosity, or enjoying the delicious treats at the campus food stalls. The courts became our arenas, where intense games of badminton and basketball served as both an escape and a battleground. Competitions, functions, lectures, and exams all added their unique pages to the book of our lives. Every moment, from the thrill of performing experiments to the anxiety of exams, contributed to the story we're all writing. Yes, there were challenges—moments that tested my strength and resolve. But amidst the hurdles, I gathered cheerful memories, choosing to stay resilient and optimistic. As I look forward to the year ahead, I'm excited to dive deeper into the fascinating world of Forensic Science. Like a scientist refining an experiment, I'm eager to explore, learn, and grow. Here's to another year of discovery, learning, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Onward to the next chapter! 📚🔬 #ForensicScience #GDGoenkaUniversity #Learning

Gajab! Maza a gaya! These were the initial few words after watching "Chillar Party", a movie by Indian Cinema. Here why... The movie gives valuable lessons for both children and adults. Below are a few takeaways, which I could summarise. 1. Friendship and Unity: Develop bonding with friends and colleagues. Support each other through challenges and celebrate successes together. 2. Standing Up for What is Right: Don't be afraid to voice your opinions, Stand up against discrimination and unfair policies. Fight for what you believe is right, even if it means going against the majority. 3. Celebrating Differences: Appreciate different perspectives. Engage in conversations with people who have different experiences, as this increases our understanding and relationship. 4. Courage and Determination: Set goals for yourself and work towards them with determination. Push your comfort zone to achieve personal and professional development. 5. Responsibility: Take responsibility for your actions and commitments. If you make a mistake, own up to it and learn from the experience. 6. Fun Learning: Approach learning with a sense of curiosity and enjoyment. Explore new hobbies, engage in activities that challenge you, and view learning as a lifelong, enjoyable process. Happy New Year 2024!

"Don't limit a child to your own learning, for he was born in another time."- Rabindranath Tagore. Today, as we honor the birth anniversary of the great Rabindranath Tagore, we not only commemorate his remarkable contributions to literature, music, and art but also delve into his profound insights on education. Tagore's vision on education transcended conventional boundaries. He believed that education should not merely be a means to acquire knowledge but a journey towards self-discovery and holistic development. His emphasis on nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and empathy remains relevant even in today's rapidly changing world. As we navigate through modern educational landscapes, let's pause and reflect on Tagore's timeless wisdom. Let's strive to create learning environments that foster curiosity, imagination, and a deep appreciation for humanity. Let's embrace diversity, encourage collaboration, and empower individuals to become lifelong learners. On this Rabindra Jayanti, let's honor Tagore's legacy by reaffirming our commitment to education that not only enlightens minds but also enriches souls. Happy Rabindra Jayanti to all! #RabindraJayanti #Education #Inspiration #Legacy #RabindranathTagore

Always represent your future, see yourself in the light of your highest and happiest value and show up as that person. I am learning never to wait on anyone to see my value, but acknowledge that inherent value and run with it. Defending yourself will destroy you. It will take all your energy. You know your truth and you honestly don't need anyone else to know, you dont need to convince anybody. There are people who listen to respond, you explain yourself until you're blue in the face. They are designed to not understand anything anybody says. Avoid situations like these, where you have to say 'what had happened was' x100, always choose peace and focus. Focus on the task at hand, focus on being a better version of yourself. That needs energy and time. Happy New Week. Happy New Month. Happy New Quarter. Remember, the next 3 months require FOCUS. #FocusOnTheThingsThatMatter #AprilIsForAccess #AprilIsForOpenDoors #AprilIsForFocus

In a world where everybody is busy thinking about themselves and complaining, we need to be grateful that we are still in perfect health. Everyday, everywhere I see people complaining about their lifestyle. They say things like "I wish I could buy that BMW car, but life is hard, so I could only afford a Toyota car". I am not saying that nobody has it hard. Quite the opposite, in fact. We must all learn how to fight our own battles. But most importantly, we must be thankful and grateful that we are waking up every day, in good health. What is important is that we are alive. The video below will teach us how to realise and accept the fact that our fate and present situation is not the worst that we have experienced so far.

Motivating Employees: A Paradigm Shift In a recent insightful post by Sony Music Managing Director for Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, and special projects in Southeast Asia, an important truth resonated deeply: employees don't merely work for a company; they work for their loved ones and themselves. This perspective challenges traditional notions of motivation in the workplace, highlighting the need for a shift in approach. As a lawyer, I believe it's crucial to recognize that what truly motivates employees, including legal professionals, extends beyond superficial perks like team buildings or free snacks. It's about acknowledging the intrinsic value of their labor and respecting the holistic lives they lead outside of the workplace. Employers must move away from the outdated notion that they are doing employees a favor by providing a job. Employment is a mutual exchange: labor for compensation. It's not about charity; it's about fair compensation for the contributions made. So, what does motivate employees, particularly those in the legal profession? It's about fostering a culture of respect, recognition, and fair compensation. It's about providing opportunities for growth, autonomy, and meaningful work. It's about creating a supportive environment where work-life balance is not just a buzzword but a tangible reality. As legal professionals, we thrive when our contributions are valued, when our voices are heard, and when our efforts are rewarded fairly. It's time for employers to embrace this paradigm shift and prioritize the well-being and motivation of their employees. #malaysianlawyers #legalprofession #employeemotivation
