It feels like I’m at a pivotal stage in my People career. Having a whole team based in a co-working environment is a pretty new concept, and it’s bound to come with challenges. What they are yet, I don’t know. There’s no road map, and I’m not aware of anyone in my HR community who has a shared experience. So, I’m figuring it out day by day. And yesterday was a huge milestone in this journey: The MadeBrave team finally landed at The Social Hub! Months and months of hard work went into planning and executing the transition, and I’m absolutely delighted to say that our first day went even better than I’d hoped it would! In the run up to the move we took the team out to see the space and created a resource for them to learn all about our new HQ, so that they were familiar with almost everything before they even arrived. Yesterday, Andrew, Paul, and I took the opportunity to remind everyone of who we are as a team, where we’ve been, and where we’re going. And Paul Crumbie (He/Him) hooked us all up with some exclusive new MadeBrave swag before the big studio glow up was revealed. Our culture is already evolving as we adapt to our new space and ways of working. I’m sure i’ll continue to learn a lot about how we work together to shape and navigate team dynamics going forward, and I’ll definitely share some of my experiences along the way… #peopleandculture #changemanagement #futureofwork #coworking #HR
