CTE Nurse Educator NYC DEPT of Education & Assistant Professor CUNY :Medgar Evers College Nurse Administrator at New York-Presbyterian Hospital - Transformational Leader -Transcultural Leader- Transformational CNE~
Career and Technical Education (CTE) isn't just a fallback for students who aren't interested in college or who face socioeconomic challenges—it's a powerful, transformative educational pathway that opens doors to countless opportunities! Research shows that students who enroll in CTE courses not only thrive academically but also attend college at higher rates than their peers who don't participate in CTE programs. As an ACTE Leadership Fellow and a passionate CTE Champion, I am dedicated to highlighting the critical importance of CTE. My project, which I will proudly present in Texas this August, underscores how CTE equips students with essential skills, knowledge, and experiences that prepare them for both college and career success. Now, I invite you to watch this inspiring video featuring Mr. Gregory Cenat, a Clara Barton High School Alumni from the Class of 1996 and a Major Dental Lab Technician. Listen as he shares his journey and explains to students at a health fair why CTE matters. His story is a testament to the life-changing impact of CTE programs. Let's celebrate and advocate for CTE together! Please share ! If you are a Barton Alumni please reach out I would love to interview you as part of my project to raise the public’s awareness of CTE programs and it’s magical powers. #CTEMatters #CareerTechEd #CTEChampions #FutureReady #SkillsForSuccess #CTEPathways #TechEd #CTELeaders #CTEImpact #CTEAdvocate #CareerReady #CTEJourney #EmpowerThroughCTE #CTEInTexas #CTESuccess #CTEStories #CTEInspiration
