Another football match raising money for King's Reach Education. Kings Reach is a unique community; an authentic family where we do not limit how we educate our young people. Our approach and philosophy is firmly rooted in the principals of therapeutic and trauma informed practices, and through unconditional child-centred relationships, we seek to understand every young person’s story and unlock their unidentified aspirations, passions and innate potential. We nurture these by working with humility, warmth, love and integrity to inspire a belief in all our young people that they CAN achieve, grow and reach their potential despite their past experiences or starting points. Over time we work with students to create bespoke, intuitive, and highly personalised education programme that evolves to meet their individual and holistic needs every step of their journey with us, we commit to always being available, consistent and accepting of every young person’s story. Feeling safe, loved and listened to without judgement or perceived threat of rejection and exclusion enables our young people to engage and in time, to thrive. We nurture aspiration, self belief and resilience in our young people preparing them for future challenges of adult life in a changing world. Thank you to Solar Gates UK who kindly sponsored the charity kits. I thought I did a lot of running during the game and so I then checked to see what the average premier league player runs in a match. I realised why I was so tired and my legs and ankles are aching two days after....I ran 5.2miles, the average premier league (football/soccer) player runs 7miles! BIG difference though! I'm one or two years older than them... I do have one more game of football before we wrap up the year. Raising money for the football teams I manage/coach (under 9s and under 6s - It's my youngest child in the picture with me) to help contribute towards tracksuits and jackets for the children. That's this coming weekend. Then I will definitely hang my boots up until next year! #ageisjustanumber #charity #charityfundraiser #charityfootball #sheernesseast #solargatesuk #kingsreacheducation #football #sport #fitness #stamina #desire #willpower #determination
