I spoke to a Lender where they have automated everything except one process? Do you know what that is? E-signature of Loan Contract.  I asked Why? He said:  My borrowers are from Rural areas. I want my borrowers to come to my branch and do the signature in the loan contract. 1) Then only, they have a Psychological impact that they are closely connected to the loan. It will improve their seriousness towards the repayment of loan. 2) They purposefully don't want to do the disbursement instantly. They are creating an image - [After a long struggle, they are getting the loan]. Funny isn't it? This will happen only if they come to the branch.     3) When borrowers step inside the branch, they'll also get a comfort level that they are getting money from a legal company, not from an informal source.  Will you add this MANUAL process to your borrowers? #manispeaksmoney

Start by talking to a loan officer. I can help. We start by finding out what loan program you're going to qualify four and then work backwards. How much of a down payment does that loan program even require? Can we do down payment assistance? What are the closing costs required? And do we think that the agent can negotiate that in seller paid closing costs. What's the difference in interest rate for a downpayment assistance loan versus if you came up with your own downpayment.
