It’s hard finding the right field agency, here are some tips that I have learnt in time. Problem 1: Well Said rather than Well Done! I have come to learn that in service businesses it’s mostly about smoke and mirrors. It’s mostly a case of well said, rather than well done. Clients often appoint service providers based on the written proposal rather than fact checking data. Selecting the right service provider for field solutions often is based on a tender process, how well the team package their offer and how well they present. These are the wrong metrics and mostly end up badly, at least for the client. The Solution: Do your due diligence! Not in the boardroom where your service provider more than likely provides you contact details of people who they enjoy relationships with. No. Do it at store level. Speak to managers. Identify your potential partners, identify their customers, speak to the staff on the ground and ask the store managers who has the best representation. Mostly happy staff deliver the best results, this is where most of your efforts should be directed. Problem 2: Give me something unique and I want results! A second challenge I have found is that is that customers always want something different, something unique, something new. But then you get confined by a very rigid set of rules. The result is an execution that is neither new or unique = unhappy customer! Similarly, customers appoint an agency based on their unique offer but then once onboarded they tell their agency what and when to do, how to do it and then they get upset when the results don’t happen. The Solution: If you choose the right partner, you should let them steer and guide your field execution. Focus on your result, not how, what and when to do things. Let them derive the plan. Whilst the customer is always king, they are not always right. This is a good example of that. At Leegra the clients with the worst results in field are mostly the ones who want to be back seat drivers. Our philosophy is either that you tell us the result you desire and we will script a plan to achieve that goal in which we are happy to be held to account. By contrast if you dictate every step we make only you can be accountable for the outcome we achieve. If you need to do narrate what needs to be done you have the wrong partner for your business. Our work at #Leegra speaks for itself. We have industry leading scorecards. We have THE BEST staff culture which is a key driver in attracting the right talent for your business. But as I said before. Don’t let us tell you this. Speak to our people on the ground! If your not happy with your current field team, are experiencing difficulties with keeping your field force motivated or are not getting the results you desire, we are waiting to show you how we are better about executing your mission than telling you how good we are! “Leegra is the Panado for the headache you are experiencing” – Riyaad Dunn, Philips Personal Healthcare. I believe prevention is better than cure - but does that contradict this testimony? I believe Leegra can be both. The headache is there because the wrong people have been doing the wrong things for too long - in our experience, clients come to us when they’re partnered with someone who doesn’t understand their needs, or tell their story in a human, connected way. What does Leegra do then that’s so different? Our brand ambassadors. They represent our people who live and experience your brand - and share that with other people just like them. They tell your story - not selling a product, but testifying to a real, lived experience of benefits and memories. Now, could you think of anything more powerful than that? I’m so proud of the kind of work all of our brand ambassadors do at Leegra - and how they represent so fully and wholly what we stand for and represent. They are living testaments of the many brands they have shared with countless people. #Leegra #Marketing #BrandAmbassadors #Legacy #Story #Connection #Solutions
