When setting goals, it is important to celebrate ourselves along the way! Think of when children are learning to walk (or do anything really!). We applaud every attempt, celebrate every success, and encourage them to try again with each fall. As adults, we either don't try at all for fear of looking silly; or we wait until we accomplish the big huge goal before we acknowledge our success - which often can cause us to give up. So celebrate your small wins! Allow yourself to fall, get back up, and try again. And be proud of yourself for trying, as many times as needed.
