Also, is there not a U S federal law which a company can not ask your age or when you graduated from high school or college; your gender trans or not and your skin tone? When one deals with such an application are their any exceptions like if the company is a federal contractor) are there any exceptions? Aaron Birnbaum Also there are still companies which interview applicant with 'assignments' which is fee free labor in my mind. Is there an agency to complain to correct these ongoing bad habits? As a 501(c)(3), Plan for and Host a Candidate Forum. In upholding our #democracy and as a 501(c)(3), plan for and host a candidate forum. This is permissible, if you follow one simple rule: invite ALL the candidates to your forum. Even if all do not show up, ensure you have given all an equal opportunity to engage. Host a candidate forum either on your own, or better yet, in partnership with a trusted community partner, invite candidates to speak on issues that matter to you. Use a panel format where you ask the questions you want answered. Ensure that all participants are given equal times to speak. Caveat: Make sure this forum is hosted at least one month prior to the election (by no later than October 8, 2024) – to avoid concerns around candidate endorsement, which 501(c)(3)s are prohibited from doing. #upholdourdemocracy #candidateforum https://lnkd.in/dSwbicqV
