Niederer Kraft Frey (NKF) advised Yttrium, a technology investor, on its Series B investment in embotech, a provider of autonomous driving solutions, advised by Walder Wyss Ltd.. Other investors in this funding round included Emerald Technology, advised by Wenger Vieli, Ventures and BMW i Ventures. In total, the funds raised amounted to CHF 23.5 million. The NKF team was led by corporate/M&A partner Patrik R. Peyer (pictured), with support from corporate/M&A associate Alexander Göbel. Walder Wyss advised Embotech on this financing round. The team was led by partner Alex Nikitine (corporate/M&A, pictured) and managing associate Timon Nydegger (corporate/M&A). Further, it included counsel Andrea Haefeli (corporate/M&A), partner André Kuhn (corporate/M&A), associates Marina Srienz (corporate/M&A) and Jenny von Arx (corporate/M&A), partner Maurus Winzap (tax), managing associate Annemarie Lagger (IP/IT), associates Michael Lysakowski (IP/IT) and Isabell Schellhas (regulatory).
