Listen in to this powerful song during the Somatic Release for Liberation session, 12PM-1PM EST (Saturday & Sunday), a space for the praxis of liberation through movement, music, and community. Experience the invitation for fully free expression - here all feelings are welcome: anger, rage, deep sadness, frustration, joy, disappointment, grief, loss, isolation, disconnect, love, hope, fear, YOU are welcome unapologetically as you are.
This is an accessible space, for all levels of movement ability, without directed instruction on how to move. As we continue to wake up to the systems of oppression at play in our societies, globally, in our lives, within our family dynamics, and our workplaces, finding ways to process physically can help us to compost what we can no longer condone and liberate us for true justice, connection, community, and care. We're here for community care and solidarity with collective liberation from Palestine to Lebanon to Congo to Sudan to Haiti and everywhere colonial imperialist extraction perpetuates global suffering.
Experience a 45 minute flow of curated music from around the world and across many genres to help you tap into radical free expression of feelings that might otherwise feel stuck of frozen inside: scream, cry, dance, lay on the ground, curl into a ball, shake, trust your body to tell you what it needs moment by moment, song by song.
**Please join on time as we get into the 45 minute music flow in the first few minutes! Followed by 10-15 minutes group reflections and introductions on what came up for each of us.**
Community Care, Contribution, & Solidarity
$5-$10 suggested contribution to Here4TheKids, whose radically authentic community of support grounded in abolition, liberation, & solidarity resources me with hope and care to give this offering to you, and a $5-$10 suggested contribution to UNRWA humanitarian aid for refugees across Gaza, Lebanon, & Egypt (total suggested donation of $10-$20 per session). When we all contribute to sustaining community, the burden isn't too much for any one of us. Please don't let financial struggle keep you from attending this session, we'd rather have you here moving with us, especially if you are financially marginalized.
