Why you’re NOT only as good as your last performance Last Saturday, Mark Cavendish was the first rider to get dropped on a challenging first stage of the Tour de France due to the heat. Many feared his early exit, but he managed to finish within the time limit alongside his team members. Today, 4 days later, he won his 35th stage in the Tour making him the sole record holder 👑 Despite the doubts surrounding him after stage 1, Cavendish remained confident in his and the team’s ability: 🗣️ “We knew what we were doing.
