The first 100 days—and thus half—of my assignment at BudgetThuis in Amsterdam have flown by! Time flies when you’re having fun, right? Given the international aspect of this assignment, I’ll continue this post in English :)
The assignment touches on all aspects of organizational challenges: clarifying roles (who does what), defining processes (how things should be done), and optimizing collaboration (structures). But also: how do you ensure that the potential within people in the organization is truly utilized, how do you build strong teams? (Spoiler: make people feel seen and heard.) It's been great so far! By engaging with and advising the executive team, management, and employees, I’ve been able to bring everything together for a stronger organizational foundation moving forward.
And beyond these challenges, how often do you get the chance to hire two completely new development teams as part of organizational development—in just four weeks? Reviewing CVs, conducting interviews, negotiating, onboarding, team building—it’s all been part of the journey. I’m incredibly proud of the international team we’ve built, representing Brazil, Argentina, Iran, India, Ukraine, Austria, Greece, and the Netherlands.
As of the end of this year, I’ll be available for a new assignment, and I’d love to connect if your organization faces similar challenges so i can help making the next steps. 💪🏻 📞 ☕️
Many years of professional experience in Finance at international firms make me the person who I am today.
