Talent Brand Marketing | Internal & External Communication | Corporate Reputation | Storytelling | Personal Branding | US American Expat in Germany 🌎✨
Organizing an event? Here's the one key ingredient you can't afford to overlook. Hiring a professional photographer and videographer! 📸 Some may think it's a small detail, but trust me, it's a game-changer. Take our Speexx Global Kick-Off 2024, for instance. Partnering with the talented Al Aire Films in Mallorca elevated our event to new heights. This collaboration reinforced my belief in the power of investing in top-notch visual branding — it’s the investment that always returns. Why prioritize professional photography and videography? 1️⃣ Multifaceted Content: Professional photos and videos offer versatility in branding. Thanks to this experience, we now have a rich library of content suitable for social media, employer brand materials, and internal communications. This multifaceted approach enhances our brand presence across various platforms. 2️⃣ Authentic Storytelling: Al Aire Films didn't just capture moments; they crafted a visual narrative highlighting our event’s energy, camaraderie, and enthusiasm. This authenticity resonates with our employees, customers, and partners, forging a stronger 360° connection. 3️⃣ Timeless Memories: iPhones are great, but investing in professional photography and videography ensures that the memories created during the event are captured with the utmost quality. These timeless visuals serve as a lasting reminder of the positive moments shared by our team. 4️⃣ Long-Term Branding Impact: Visual branding is a long-term investment. Event images and videos captured not only document a single event but contribute to the overall visual identity of our brand. Consistent, high-quality visuals reinforce brand recognition and loyalty. 5️⃣ Event Organizers Unleashed: With Al Aire Films capturing every moment, my team and I could immerse ourselves fully in the festivities, living in the moment without worrying about missing a minute. Without further ado, here's our incredible brand video from this event. I'm immensely proud of how it turned out, making it one of my favorite projects to date. A huge shoutout especially to Lina Schütze for her hard work in capturing our company's unique essence. You absolutely rocked it! 🚀 #EmployerBranding #BrandMarketing

#VivaTech #HotTake No.1: "Community is the unsung hero of IP value". Short snippet from the Creative Crossroad panel that took place in Paris for Viva Technology with Alice & Smith, I shared 3 key pillars for driving brand and IP value with the help of your #community: 🟣 Turn your players into advocates: find your superfans and elevate them. 🟣 Create a feedback loop: you'll need it to iterate and optimize your IP or brand. 🟣 Extend your IP with the help of your fans: there's something so magical that happens when fans start creating content around it. Listen and create these ingredients and spaces for fans to generate fan art, fanfic... Do you think the IPs of the future will be fan co-created?

Helping gaming streamers grow on YouTube, build their personal brands, and make a living doing what they love.
YouTube and the creator economy have grown too big to host a huge weekend convention for fans. Gone are the days of monoculture where everyone knew the top 20 creators on the internet. That ship sailed when people realized you can have someone with 10 million subscribers who they’ve never heard of. With so many creators, it was bound to happen. Now, every creator has a tribe. It's impossible to have one event that fulfills the needs of all fans. Just like big publishers with E3 or Summer Games Fest, you might see a few titles represented here and there, but now they all host their own online press conferences, taking things into their own hands. That's what I foresee happening with creators. They will all have their own specialized fan events and meetups. Big ones like Mr. Beast and his Beast Burger launch at the Mall of America come to mind. But not all events have to be so extreme. Over time, creators will learn how to build their own events for their fans and for fans of other creators within their circle or niche. What do you think?
More than ever, VidCon isn't just about creators & their fans anymore - it's about *industry* - where creators learn from each other & network with brands, agencies, and service providers. A few thoughts: 1. This is a good thing! it's natural that as the creator economy grows, creators know that they need to build enduring businesses beyond just content - and share with each other how to do that we saw panels from Smosh - including not only Ian & Anthony but also their CEO Alessandra Catanese on how they operate as a company - on creator businesses where Jason Y. Lee CEO of Jubilee shared thoughts with Sam Denby of Wendover Productions & Nebula and even creators who've spun out brick & mortar operations - like @twaydabae running her own restaurant! 2. we also saw so much more activity in the industry part of the convention center - because those of us who work with creators also have more ways to work together. I personally spent most of VidCon in the Hyatt meeting with all types- from brands to agencies to companies building creator tools to investors wanting to provide capital to creators. 3. I'm really curious to see the continued interplay of VidCon vs Cannes. In previous years - they sometimes were on the same weekend - forcing people to choose between the creator-focused conference (VidCon) vs one that was more brand/ advertising focused (Cannes) - but now VidCon is focusing more on industry at the same time that Cannes is starting to invite creators. What do you think will happen?
