Today, I want to take a moment to shine a spotlight on the incredible individuals who make our success possible. These are the people who show up every day with passion, dedication, and a drive to push boundaries. They’re the unsung heroes who turn challenges into opportunities and ideas into reality. 🔍 Why does this matter? Because in today’s competitive landscape, a company’s true differentiator isn’t just its products or services—it’s its people. Highlighting the stories of our team members does more than just recognize their hard work; it humanizes our brand and shows the world what we’re really made of. 📈 And there’s more. Employee spotlights aren’t just feel-good stories—they’re powerful tools for attracting top talent. When potential candidates see the accomplishments and career growth of our team, they’re not just interested—they’re inspired. They see a place where they can grow, thrive, and make a real impact. But it doesn’t stop there. By sharing these stories, we’re also building a culture of appreciation and recognition. It’s about more than just a paycheck—it’s about creating a place where people feel valued and motivated to bring their best selves to work every day. So, stay tuned! Over the next few weeks, we’ll be featuring the incredible journeys of our team members, celebrating their successes, and showing the world what makes our company truly special. 🔗 Who’s the unsung hero in your workplace? Tag them below and let’s start a wave of recognition!

Here's a reality check: Your work doesn’t have to change the world to be meaningful. Not every job or business will change the world, and that’s fine. Many of us are just trying to get by, support our families, and make a living. Sometimes, the most impactful work is the thing that happens behind the scenes or in everyday interactions. It’s about being consistent, showing up for your clients, and creating a positive experience. Whether you’re providing a service, making a product, or simply being a good team member, you’re still making a difference in someone’s life. So, let’s stop putting pressure on ourselves to be world-changers and start appreciating the value of the work we do every day! What matters most is that you’re making your corner of the world a little better. If this resonates with you, drop a comment below and share how your work is making a difference, no matter how small! 👇 Let’s celebrate our contributions together! 🥰

Are we intentionally adding value to people? Are we adding value to the people we love the most? I'm convinced that many people neglect those they love the most and give so much to others. Why is this? Is it that we are seeking their validation? Do we take our loved ones for granted and believe they will always understand? I trust that we all want to add value to people, but we are not always intentional about the 'how.' Maybe every morning, we should list 2-3 ways we want to be kind to those around us. i.e., show empathy, help someone, listen for the sake of understanding, etc. As leaders in our workplaces, homes, and communities, we should be mindful of how we make those around us feel. If those around us know we care and feel valued, we can expect them to thrive in their work and personal lives, build meaningful relationships, and contribute to creating a pleasant 'home, community, or work environment.' Let's aim for this. Let's aim not to be the center and let others be the center of everything we do.

Anyone who has worked with me knows how dogged I am about getting to the root issue of People stuff. If people are stressed and anxious at work, there's likely a crack in the foundation. We miss those cracks because we assume that the basics are in place (they must be! right?....right?!?) and go looking for higher-level problems to solve. coLeague's *Talent Diagnostic* uncovers the root cause of a lot of big People challenges because it's laser-focused on what people need in order to feel calm and safe enough to focus on what actually matters for them and their team. Wouldn't it be nice, in just a few weeks, with very little effort on your part, to get a clear picture of what is destabilizing your team? And what to tackle first to solve it?? Hit me up in my DMs if you wanna hear more. :)
I help leaders of mission-driven organizations take back their time and focus by embedding fractional People Leaders into the business in the right way, at the right time.
Sarah Braver (she/her) lays out why we built out the talent diagnostic - and to be honest, why we started coLeague. CEOs and EDs are burnt out. They know they need to pay attention to the culture and people work because there is no one else there to do it, but they don't know where to start. Sound like anyone you know? They may need to talk to Sarah!

We do our best work when driven by passion. We do our worst when we feel forced to. Managers who take an active interest in supporting the personal development of their employees not only cultivate a happy team but also foster an effective and dedicated one. That’s how you expand your brand from the ground up. That’s how you get people excited to come to work in the morning. That’s how you help people to find their purpose at work. It’s not rocket science – when you treat people like people, not resources, they bring passion and energy to work. Give it a try.
