Yet another example of UK policymakers not understanding the industry. Wine is generally not vinified to a % abv. The best possible wine is made with the vintage of grapes which is largely weather dependant. Sometimes can be say,12%, sometimes 13.5%. With this new duty policy winemakers face the choice of changing price for duty changes each vintage, or manipulate the wine for the UK market to hit an abv. Both options ridiculous. Not to mention the admin burden ... Luckily this part of the policy not implemented until 2025, so maybe, just maybe, someone in government will see sense before then!! #winebusiness #excisetax https://lnkd.in/ebc7gzZy

Does anyone think we might have we reached 'peak' celebrity endorsement of alcohol brands? Some collaborations do make sense and the celebs put in a proper shift to help the brand. But others, one feels, are simply trying to jump on the gravy train. How about a return to decent liquid, good packaging and some innovation? https://lnkd.in/dFzUvxn4?

For LDA to 35s, Stateless Banana hits the spot. Intense banana on the nose and great liquid. Along with circus-like fun!
The flavoured spirits category globally is set to reach $51 Billion USD by 2029. With a predicted 15% CAGR over the next 5 years, its makes the category on the most exciting space in the global spirits market. Personally I feel it may be underrepresented by the Multinationals, and is a huge blank canvas for Innovation which should provide great opportunities for entrepreneurial companies. Please welcome STATELESS Banana Flavoured Whiskey to the Milestone Beverages portfolio! Award winning quality liquid backed by quality science and the team at Endless West! A US Whiskey infused with natural Banana flavours, creating a world class liquid. During our last Whiskey Festival, Stateless Banana stood out from the crowd and had a 90% consideration rate on tastings (liquid to lips!)
