The Navitar, Inc. Zoom 7000 has undergone a comprehensive overhaul to increase the image quality of the macro lens with a focal length range of 18-111mm. The Zoom 7000-2, the new generation of the C-mount lens, was shown at the jumavis GmbH stand at VISION. The working distance is 5" to infinity, with parfocal over the entire zoom range and image recordings of objects larger than 1" in diameter. Involved in High-Speed Thermal Imaging, or needing the tools to understand your application better? This can be a complex situation, especially if your application area is subject to strong thermal contrasts (military signature and ranging applications, additive manufacturing research, wildfire and combustion work) and needing to understand what is happening outside of the main hot areas. Previously multiple exposures would be needed, as typical midwave thermal cameras can measure a span of about 100-150 degrees in a single snapshot image before saturating the image sensor.
