That’s a wrap on the YMCA Northeast Leaders School, 2023. For one week we put everything into this program for these teens. Our days are just over 17 hours long. We aim for the teens to grow in leadership development, personal values, teambuilding, relationship building, expanding comfort zones, character development, and more. Teens are singing, chanting and cheering one another on all week. They goal set and challenge themselves and there are countless silly and fun moments. I, like many of our staff am tired in the best way. This is such a bucket-filling program and such a great way to end year 10! #leadershipdevelopment #teenleaders #professionaldevelopment #ymca #service #advocacy
