This article I wrote for Apiarists Advocate about nearly a year ago is still relevant today, especially in the light of the new strategy doc released at the BeeHive, with an ambitious goal to take the NZ apiculture industry to billion dollars revenue by 2030. Honey in a jar alone will not get us to 1b revenue. Mānuka honey alone will not get us there either. Innovation is the key. I know that my team and I are excited about our research, development & innovation. We want to be part of this next $1b growth and we are taking steps towards it.
