Career advancement can often seem daunting. My own career path does not make traditional sense when i stop to consider it. I started out in the Omaha, Nebraska call center 15 years ago with #CoxCommunications. From there I moved into Operations, then Knowledge and Content Management, and finally to Digital Assist and AI. During that time I expanded my network, worked on inter-divisional programs, events, and initiatives until I cultivated a reputation and portfolio that enabled me to move into Cultural Program Management with Product & Technology @CoxAutomotive. It's amazing when I stop to think about the amount of change I have seen and been engaged with. I wonder - what is the most non-traditional change you've made in YOUR career? Are you interested in learning more about a Career at Cox? Consider joining the Cox Talent Community and who knows where the road may take you. (Mine took me to Cox Automotive - you see what I did there?) #coxbrandadvocate #lifeatcox #careergrowth #personaljourney #coxtalentcommunity

Starting a business is full of milestones, but this one feels particularly special. Today, I’m thrilled (and a bit nervous) to share that we’ve officially hired our very first employee for Pink's Windows Greater Cincinnati! Let me tell you, this was no small moment for me. When we first opened up the position, I was excited but also deeply nervous. Sorting through that first batch of applications was a humbling experience. Each resume represented a person who believed in what we are building and wanted to be a part of it. It made me realize how much responsibility I have to create something worth joining. Then came the first phone call. I had my notes in front of me, but my hands were a little shaky. What if I didn’t ask the right questions? What if I missed out on the perfect person because I’m new to this? But as the conversation flowed, I realized that hiring isn’t just about the perfect questions—it’s about connection and shared values. The in-person interview was another big step. Sitting across from someone who was considering trusting us with their career was surreal. We talked about their goals, their story, and what they could bring to our team. And by the end of it, I knew we had found the right fit. Now, as we welcome this person to our team, I’m filled with gratitude and excitement for what’s ahead. This hire isn’t just about growing the business—it’s about building a culture and creating opportunities to make a real impact in our community. If you or someone you know wants to be part of a growing company that’s dedicated to making a difference and doing a job right, we’re hiring! Let’s build something amazing together.

I think that one of the greatest ways that trust is earned is through accountability. When things don't go our way, it's easy to assign blame to some external factor and just keep going. But just because it's easy, doesn't mean it's right. It's a lot more difficult to hold someone accountable, especially when that person is us. At GavinHeath, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of accountability, ensuring transparency, reliability, and integrity in all our interactions. Here is how we define Accountability at GavinHeath: ✅ Taking ownership of our actions and decisions ✅ Delivering on promises and commitments ✅ Learning from mistakes and continuously improving Learn more about our award-winning team at www.gavinheath.com Looking for a job? Advance Auto Parts is bearing the fruit of its own incompetence. Their model is obsolete and its future is in trouble. The bean counter mentality with its continual cost cutting and shedding its key people because they represent high costs and expecting to continually get a larger local market share is unsustainable. O'Reilly Auto Parts or someone like them will eventually force them into oblivion. Just my opinion.

Hi, We purchased a home in Clermont, Florida from Dream Finder four months ago. Last month, Hurricane Milton, a Category 1 storm in the Clermont area, caused severe damage to our roof. Considering the mild nature of the storm here, I didn't expect such poor quality from Dream Finder's construction. According to the Florida Building Code, new homes in coastal areas must withstand Category 5 hurricanes and Category 3 in inland areas. Hurricane Milton hit Florida’s coast as a Category 3 hurricane and weakened to Category 1 near Clermont. The severe damage to our roof indicates that the materials or installation did not comply with the Florida Building Code. We have questioned Dream Finder’s customer care department on why our roof sustained such extensive damage while neighboring homes remained unaffected. As educated individuals, we cannot accept their explanation of "Only God knows why." The Law of Physics, created by God, governs wind behavior impartially; it doesn't target specific homes but rather exposes construction defects and weaknesses.
🎃 Don’t get ‘spooked’ by the idea of a new career! At Dream Finders Homes, there are no ‘tricks’—just real opportunities to grow, and we’ll ‘treat’ you right! 🍬 Explore our openings today:https://lnkd.in/eP3QhdWz
