This was the first video I ever did that took off back in 2015, getting tens of thousands of views. Here’s how I did it and how you can use events in your niche to gain an audience: 1. Think about big events, news, announcements, etc that are coming up in your niche and people will be searching for. In this case I knew that people would be searching for content on the Ironman World Championship in the weeks leading up to the race. 2. Create a piece of content about the event with your thoughts on what to expect. Do this earlier than you think you need to so that your content is the first piece up on the topic, this way when other content starts popping up yours has a head start. 3. Title the content the search terms you think people will use when searching for the event. This is a strategy called “tentpoling” and it’ll still work today. It’s a great way to gain traffic when you’re starting from scratch.

Ya making clients do extreme sports. (When your experience is rough, and messy) It's a pain to go through a messy experience. Especially for your clients. Consider this scenario: You got multiple links, five of 'em? Cool, but don't bury them in your posts. Get that stuff organized on your profile. Make it easy to find. Use a tool -> Linktree etc. Disorganized stuff just makes your clients feel like they're doing extreme sports. And that's not what they signed up for. Instead, Be organized. Be a systems person, Get your stuff in order. Find a system that works for you, then stick to it. When you do that, your clients appreciate it. The little things matter, so deal with them. Don't leave your clients hanging, make their lives easier. Capiche?
